Simple Deviled Eggs Recipe
Category: Food & Culinary
This is a very simple recipe, I have been using for years. And it's darn tasty.
Ingredients needed:
6 Eggs
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon dry ground mustard
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Dry Paprika Spice
Instructions:
1.Place 6 room temperature eggs in a saucepan and add water about 1 inch above the top of the eggs. Bring the water to a rolling boil using medium temperature, and remove from heat and let eggs sit for 10 minutes, when time is up place in ice water for 5 minutes for them to cool and then remove.
2.Gently slice the hard-boiled eggs in half, put to the side and place the yolk in a second bowl.
3.Mash the yolks and add Mayonnaise, salt and black pepper.
4.With a spoon or filling pipe (see below), fill the 12 eggs halves with the yolk mixture.
5.Sprinkle the tops of the eggs lightly with Paprika.
6.Place on plate when finished, cover, and place them in the refrigerator for one hour.
7.SERVE
Filling Pipe:
Place yolk mixture into a plastic zip-lock bag and cut off small corner, gently squeezing ingredients into the eggs halves.
