The Puggle is a small size that has a maximum height between 13 inches and 15 inches (32.5 cm and 37.5 cm) at the withers. These dogs have a maximum body weight, ranging from 18 lbs to 30 lbs (8.1 kg to 13.6 kg).

The Puggle dog has a small, soft, double coat. The undercoat of the dog is thick and short, enclosed by a little longer top coat. Generally, the Puggle dog is a sweet-tempered breed that will manage well with kids of all ages. Sometimes, the Puggle Dogs are inclined to bite, so it is required to teach kids the way to approach and touch the Puggle Dog breed. Moreover, constant supervision is required when the Puggle Dogs play with kids. Though the Puggle Dogs are passive in nature, they will incline to bite when their ears are pulled.
