Category: Jeep
The Jeep Wrangler is first and foremost designed as an off-road vehicle. The Jeep Wrangler is manufactured by Fiat Chrysler.
History
The first Jeep Wranglers resemble the off-road vehicles made during World War 2 but first rolled off the assembly line in 1986.
The first generation of Jeep Wrangler was called the YJ, and it was made until 1995. The first generation of Jeep Wranglers had square headlights, which became round in the later models. The first versions of the Jeep Wrangler were available with either a 2.5 liter straight 4 engine or 4.2 liter straight 6 engine. The TJ line was made from 1997 to 2006. A series of “Unlimited†models were made from 2004 until 2006. The generation from 2007 through 2015 was called the JK. In 2009, the Jeep Wrangler added trailer sway control and electronic stability programs so that the vehicle cannot roll back on graded surfaces or accidentally flip a trailer.
