Performance
The 2015 model of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited achieved 16 miles per gallon in the city and 20 to 21 miles per gallon on the highway.
In 2015, 2006 model year Jeep Wranglers were recalled for an ignition switch problem. The result for some Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was that the vehicle might move when the ignition key was turned, before the driver intended it.
In 2014, there was a recall of 2011 through 2013 Jeep Wranglers due to an issue with heated power mirrors that could result in a fire.
In 2013, there was an NHTSA recall for the 2012 and 2013 Jeep Wranglers and Wrangler Unlimited models for problems with the hydraulic steering. The steering line might come into contact with the transmission oil cooler, leading to a loss of transmission fluid, creating the risk that the vehicle would crash. A separate recall that year was put out for floor liners that might shift forward and interfere with the accelerator, causing the car to accelerate when the driver didn’t intend so, increasing the risk of a crash.
The basic model of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was $26,700 new in 2015. The price for the Sahara trim line in 2015 was $32,600. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon started at $35,700 new in 2015.The limited edition Rubicon Hard Rock trim line started at $40,200 new in 2015.
In contrast, the 2015 Jeep Wrangler with only two doors was $23,500 new.

There is a Wrangler X with right handed drive so that mail carriers driving the jeep can pull up and deliver the mail.
