Hyundai Sonata Plug-In was unveiled in Auto Shaghai in 2015. The Hyundai Sonata Plug-In has a powertrain of 2.0 liter Nu four cylinder GDI engine. The engine can produce a minimum of 154hp and 190NM of torque. The Hyundai Sonata Plug-In can drive at a very high speed if you compare it with other models of Hyundai.
The Hyundai Sonata Plug-In has an electric motor and is also powered with a battery pack which ensures that it charged when the need arises. The battery is believed to be more than four times higher than other Hybrid modes. The battery charges at a minimum of around two hours using a level 2 charger. The model has been rumored to be made in South Korea. The price of the Hyundai Sonata Plug-In has not been announced but are expected to be once the car is introduced to the market.
The Hyundai Sonata Plug-In's power-train has been matched into a six speed- automatic- transmission and the electric drive range expected to rise to around 22 miles.
