The Chevrolet Sonic Car first came out in 2012. The Chevrolet Sonic Car had a recall due to problems with the windshield wiper reservoirs later in 2012. The RS trim line, the highest trim line of the Chevy Sonic, came out in 2015. It kept the same engine but turned into a hatch back. The RS sedan came out in 2014. The MyLink infotainment system was rolled out as an option to all of the Chevy Sonic models in 2013. The 2015 version made the OnStar 4G LTE and wi-fi hot spot standard and a phone app for controlling the infotainment system.
