Facts about Bulldog, "Scientific name for Bulldog, or domestic canine, is Canis lupus familiaris". The Bulldog is an average-sized dog breed that is native to England in the United Kingdom. The Bulldogs are commonly called as the British Bulldog or the English bulldog. The Bulldog breeds are the fifth most admired pedigrees in the United States during 2013.
The Bulldog is a well-built, weighty dog with a crinkled face and a unique pushed-in nose.
