The Beautiful Dancer Lotus that originates from China has strong single blooms that are about three to four inches in diameter with their leaves growing from about six to ten inches wide under good conditions.
The plant may grow to a height of approximately one to three feet tall. This attractive lotus plant has strong dark pinkish tips blossom with white and pink colors which is supported by a tubular stalk. The flower stem is then removed once the plant has completed blossoming.
Beautiful Dancer Lotus, when in full blossom, usually bursts into a single lovely shaped white and pink blossom with dark pink colors on the tips. This plant, when planted in ponds, may grow two inches up in water and up to a depth of ten inches.
The Beautiful Dancer lotus of China origin performs well when planted in a huge container of at least two gallons or bigger. It usually does well when it planted in a no-hole container. They are considered as true bowl lotus as they can do so well in containers even without the ponds. However, they can also do great when grown in ponds. They are hardy from zone four to zone eleven.
The Beautiful Dancer lotus plant may be great in garden beds as they are fragrant and cold hardy tolerating both dry and coastal conditions. They prefer well drained soils placed in positions where they receive full sun to partly shade. They can look great when mass planted for this type of plant, needs very minimal maintenance requirements is needed.
