The Chevrolet City Express is actually designed by Nissan and based on the Nissan NV200 van. The Chevrolet City Express is a cargo van only and built on the Nissan B platform. The related Chevy Express van comes in both cargo and passenger van forms. There are several modified versions of the City Express used as taxies such as for New York City since 2013, but this is not commonly done.
The Chevrolet City Express basic model was a 2 liter 4 cylinder engine and 2 speed CVT automatic transmission; it comes with front wheel drive. The standard engine in 2015 is 131 horsepower. The standard version of the Chevy Express van has antilock breaks and a stability control system.

This is the only Chevy vehicle made entirely by Nissan. Conversely, the somewhat larger Chevy Express along with the Ford rival van are the only vans made in America by US car companies.
